Hey Text and Rockers!

Finishing up a PhD in ancient Near Eastern and Classical Literature, the most shocking thing to me is how big God is or how small people make the idea.

Both things.

This collection is designed to reboot what you think about your own existence, God as the engine that makes it all go, how you think about what you're here to do, and what it means to let time heal your hurt, your hate, and your past.

I wrote HISTORIAN DELOREAN because I needed to re-ravel in a world that seems to be unraveling. I needed a win, and I hope it helps you over and against your own losses of the soul.

HISTORIAN DELOREAN contains a digital poetry collection in an e-book, a handful of new audio meditations (the poems set to Stranger Things sounding synths) with a couple curveballs, and a few videos Eric and I made from the collection.

Along the way you'll

• Stop thinking about God like an eight year old and start seeing the energy of divinity everywhere and in all things.
• Re-think what it is to be a self-aware super computer AS EVIDENCE of the divinity you lean into, step away from, or remain agnostic about (the laziest option).
• Do a mental thought experiment in thinking about time in circles instead of a line... you know like all the people who wrote your ancient sacred texts. Surprise. The world is full-of-em!
• Ask what it means to let time heal the wounds you don't even know how to talk about with anyone. You're welcome-- I had to deal with my own worst enemy first (it was me-- wink).
• All the social critique worthy of a proper Text and Rocker. We're not messing around with mediocrity.
